What are Ushers and Greeters?
Users and Greeters are the front line of “Evangelism” for the congregation.
Greeters act as representatives of Jesus Christ, greeting His people as they gather to worship. We want everyone who walks through the doors of St. Andrew’s to feel warmly welcomed.
Ushers welcome people and make sure they gen an “Order of Service” bulletin for worship. They assist during the service with the offering, at communion and following the service. This is a vital ministry, one of hospitality and supporting our worship.
Who can be an Usher or Greeter?
Any parishioner with an outgoing personality and willingness to help can serve as an Usher or Greeter.
What are the Time Requirements?
Ushers and Greeters need to arrive and stay after the service for approximately 20 minutes each.
More information regarding instructions can be obtained from the Ministry Heads.
